Last month, the team at Asuria laced up their runners and put their best foot forward by taking part in STEPtemeber, an annual event that aims to raise money to support people living with cerebral palsy.
Getting behind the cause, Asuria was challenged to get moving any way they could to reach 100,000 steps a day throughout September.
Eager to up the physical activity, banter, and fun during lockdown whilst also raising much-needed funds toward cerebral palsy research and therapy, 137 staff members signed up across two countries, with our Asuria Sweden team also taking part.
In 30 days, despite a rollercoaster month of lockdowns, lousy weather and surprise earthquakes, Asuria was able to take an impressive 28,678,682 steps – a tally that would have carried our Sydney team the entire distance to our colleagues in Sweden!
As a company, we donated $3,425 and raised an outstanding total of $14,564 for a fantastic charity that will help create better living conditions for those living with Cerebral Palsy.
