On being a mentor
What does being an Asuria Business Mentor mean to you?
It means being able to support and guide people who already have, or are wanting, to start their own business.
What do you love most about working with Self-Employment Assistance participants like Lydia?
Lydia had a goal of what she was wanting to achieve, and it allowed me to be able to support and guide her to give her the confidence to support the business and herself.
What’s the single most important piece of advice you would offer to someone considering starting their own business?
You never know unless you try it. Sometimes it's about taking the leap. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Being able to work with people of all different walks of life, but also being able to be there in someone’s corner when they need you most.
