PeoplePlus Australia has launched its third successive Stars for Hire campaign.
In this year’s revitalised campaign, Stars for Hire will run from September 1 to December 31, aiming to place 1500 jobseekers from all walks of life across all of our employment programs into much-needed work.
In an additional effort to improve the lives of job seekers, local employers, and organisations, PeoplePlus will donate $1000 in recognition of every 500 jobs placed to a local affiliated charity as chosen by members of our team.
Since the launch of our first Stars for Hire campaign in 2016, the initiative has had the tremendous success of transforming lives and businesses in communities around Australia. Our second campaign in 2017 campaign exceeded expectations by placing 1500 job seekers into employment.
“We’re thrilled to be running Stars for Hire for a third successive year,” says PeoplePlus Executive Chairman, Con Kittos.
“In addition to our jobactive teams, our new Disability Employment Services, Career Transition Assistance, and the larger ParentsNext programs, we’re going to help more Australians in over 100 locations across our great country.
“Our organisation thrives on matching great employees with employers and helping customers with disadvantage and exclusion into work and new opportunities, and I look forward to seeing my team break last year’s record!” Mr. Kittos said.
Additionally, our Transition to Work team which works with participants aged 15-21 is excited at the prospect of placing young people into new careers.
