Asuria, one of Australia's leading employment services providers delivering the new Inclusive Employment Australia program across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and Macarthur region, is set to host an Employer Business Lunch on Tuesday 10 February in Campbelltown, bringing together business leaders to explore strategies for accessing skilled candidates and building inclusive workplaces.
The lunch will be hosted by MC and Keynote Speaker Wayne Herbert, a fearless advocate, dynamic speaker, and passionate champion for disability and LGBTIQ inclusion. Wayne will be joined by an expert panel including Jo Ingold (BSc, MA, PhD), Professor of Business (Human Resource Management) at Peter Faber Business School, Australian Catholic University, whose teaching and research encompasses workplace inclusion of under-leveraged talent.
They will be accompanied by Saraya O'Connell, COO of Hotel Etico Australia, who leads the way in inclusive hospitality with over 16 years in disability services, driving programs that empower people with disabilities through employment and independent living; and Alex Jones, Senior Manager at the Sydney Opera House with over 15 years’ experience across corporate, government, and community sectors, along with key cultural leadership roles with major events, including the Melbourne Deaflympics Cultural Festival and the Australian Deaf Games.
Attended by business leaders from across the region, the session will focus on addressing the recruitment needs of Macarthur region businesses, with the panel discussing practical solutions for current labour market challenges whilst showcasing the comprehensive support available through Asuria’s delivery of Inclusive Employment Australia.
