Asuria Executive Chairman, Con Kittos, named ‘International People Services Chairman of the Year 2022’

3 minute read

Asuria Executive Chairman, Con Kittos, has been named ‘International People Services Chairman of the Year, as part of the second annual instalment of the Chairperson Awards.

Delivered and judged by CEO Monthly magazine, the Chairperson Awards recognise chairpersons globally who do exceptional work to take their business to the next level. Now in its second year, the 2022 edition looked to recognise those who have helped lead their companies through the pandemic and regain momentum at the first opportunity.

With operations in the UK, Sweden, and Saudi Arabia, from July 2022, Asuria became Australia’s second largest employment services provider, delivering in excess of $500 million of Government contracts nationwide across programs including Workforce Australia, Disability Employment Services, Self-Employment Assistance, ParentsNext, Transition to Work, and more.

Asuria currently employs more than 700 people across 200 offices in Australia and internationally, providing a range of frontline public services covering employment support, training and education, pre-release prison services, business start-up services, and health and wellbeing support.

Asuria’s transformation from a loss-making human resources company to Australia’s second largest provider of employment services, in just six years, followed Con Kittos’ acquisition of PeoplePlus Australia from Staffline Group in 2016.

Asuria Executive Chairman, Con Kittos, says of the award: “While I’m humbled by this award, this is just the latest in a long list of incredible achievements for Asuria and our investee companies this year, none of which would have been possible without our hardworking staff, invaluable partners, and our customers, government, employers, and participants. To the person (or persons) who nominated me for the award, and to all of those who voted for it – thank you.”

CEO Monthly Awards Coordinator, Kaven Cooper, adds: “This was our second year of running the Chairperson awards, and it has been a privilege to reach out to all those who have been successful. We offer a heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and wish them good luck for the future.”
