Asuria’s Executive Chairman, Con Kittos, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Disability Employment Australia Awards, which took place at a prestigious gala dinner in Melbourne yesterday (Wednesday 12th June).
Recognising excellence and commitment to disability employment and the right of people with disability to pursue and be engaged in meaningful, fairly paid employment, Con was recognised by Disability Employment Australia for his outstanding contribution to the industry spanning 25 years.
Executive Chairman of Asuria since 2016, Con has been at the heart of an amazing transformation for Asuria, taking the company from an unprofitable human resources business to become Australia’s second largest employment services provider. Asuria also helps governments around the world with their employment programs, including the UK, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
For 25 years, Con has been passionate about the right for people with disability to access sustainable, meaningful employment, and has been incredibly proud to oversee the delivery of Disability Employment Services (DES) in over 65 locations around Australia.
On receiving the award Con says: “I’m honoured to accept this award on behalf of every person with disability whom it has been my privilege to help find meaningful jobs and careers.”
