Our individual counselling can help you:

  • Understand, express, and better manage emotions
  • Reduce distress and learn coping skills
  • Develop flexible thinking styles
  • Manage and improve mental health difficulties
  • Learn effective interpersonal skills, improve relationships and communication
  • Build confidence to socialise more often and work towards goals
  • Have more structure and planned activities in the day
  • Improve motivation
  • Manage daily tasks and improve quality of life

Employment-Related Assessment and Counselling (individual counselling)

  • Finding and Keeping a Job (Capacity Building)

Our individual counselling can help you:

  • Moving towards being ready to step into work or study
  • Improving motivation
  • Managing mental health (if needed) and learning coping skills
  • Learning effective interpersonal skills for working with others, improving relationships and communication
  • Addressing psychosocial difficulties in personal life
  • Empowering participants in employment preparation including tailoring a resume, job seeking advice, interview preparation, school leaver support, and helping to transition from school to further education

Eligibility and cost

If you're an NDIS participant and your plan includes funding under Registration Code 0102 (Assistance to Access and Maintain Employment or Higher Education), within the Finding and Keeping a Job support category, you may be able to use your funding for these services.

Speak to your Mentor today and they can help you confirm whether your NDIS funding can be used.
