• Be employed in a care or support role in community services

• Provide a valid USI

Students must already be employed in a care or support role and provide evidence of employment through workplace visits. No separate work placement hours are required.

To undertake this course, you will need:

• A computer with internet access and a web browser.
• A regular access to a reliable internet connection and an email address.
• Adobe Acrobat Reader and/or Adobe Flash Player.
• A mobile device (e.g. Mobile phone) capable of recording short videos at your workplace with a supervisor.
• To begin this course, you will need a USI. For more information on USI, go to: www.usi.gov.au It is a government requirement that participants undertaking Nationally Recognised Training in Australia have a unique student identifier (USI). 
  

• Government funding may be available for eligible participants in Tasmania.  

• If you are not eligible for government funding, the course can be delivered as a Fee for Service program across all States. We can organise a payment plan with you to cover the cost of the course.
