Asuria, one of Australia’s leading employment services providers, has been appointed by the Department of Social Services to deliver the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Macarthur region, Victoria’s Bendigo region, and South Australia’s Northern Adelaide, Western Adelaide and Murraylands regions from 1 November 2025. IEA replaces the current Disability Employment Services (DES) program.
With over 40 years of experience, Asuria has successfully delivered the DES program since 2018, achieving strong and sustainable employment outcomes for people with disability. This appointment reflects Asuria’s continued commitment to empowering individuals with disability through tailored support, workplace training, and wellbeing services that enable them to thrive in long-term employment
The IEA program aims to help people with disability, injury, or a health condition secure and sustain meaningful employment, while also supporting employers to adopt inclusive recruitment and workplace practices. Asuria’s deep understanding of the barriers people with disability face in the workforce positions it as a trusted provider, ensuring participants and employers alike receive the support needed for long-term success.
Over the next five years, Asuria will deliver the IEA program across multiple regions nationwide, building on our DES delivery and enabling us to support even more people with disability. In New South Wales, Asuria will be supporting individuals across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Macarthur regions, while in South Australia, our services will reach even more individuals across Northern Adelaide, Western Adelaide, and the Murraylands. In Victoria, Asuria is proud to continue our long-standing presence in Bendigo, where we have deep roots and a strong history of delivering impactful services to the local community. This growth reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering people living with a disability to secure meaningful employment opportunities; while supporting employers to build more inclusive workplaces.

This holistic approach fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion and career progression, enhancing employee morale, productivity and retention within Asuria.
Initiated in early 2024, Asuria’s Impact for Inclusion initiative is a nationwide employer pledge campaign inviting organisations to commit to fostering diverse and inclusive workplaces by unlocking benefits such as access to diverse, job‑ready candidates, ongoing post‑placement support, education and peer‑learning opportunities, and exclusive tools to embed inclusive practices. To date, over 1,100 employers have taken the pledge. By integrating this framework into Asuria’s IEA program delivery, Asuria will leverage this network and suite of resources - access to diverse candidates with sustained support, exclusive inclusion tools and peer‑learning opportunities - to match IEA participants with workplaces that truly recognise and value individual uniqueness. Coupled with our enhanced staff training in disability awareness, this empowers Asuria in 2025 and beyond to create even more inclusive workplaces across all regions, delivering sustainable, equitable employment outcomes for people with disability.
“We are honoured to be entrusted with delivering the IEA program in locations across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. This contract allows us to continue our mission of increasing employment participation for people from diverse backgrounds, particularly those facing barriers to work,” said Nicole Grainger-Marsh, CEO, Asuria Australia.
“Asuria’s approach will unlock opportunities previously out of reach, creating lasting employment outcomes for individuals with disability and ensuring that no Australian is left behind.”
To support the expansion of the IEA program, Asuria will be creating new roles across its service regions.
