Our team of staff and participants for the Transition to Work program delivered by YEP Australia recently got involved for EAT SHOP CHOP, hosted by our friends at Thread Together.
The festival offered the community a chance to get a new wardrobe of clothes, a free haircut and a hot meal. Our team of young people provided services such as clothes fitting and consultation for over 300 people across Sydney who attended the event.
Since partnering up with Thread Together 12 months ago, participants have been provided with valuable workplace skills and training and we've placed nine young people into internships who have all gone onto secure sustainable employment as a result.
